Caloundra Lions

A Look At Us

These are some miscellaneous Activity Day photos.

For many years Caloundra Lions have maintained a park on Bribie Island.
It contains a shelter shed with tables and benches, a rain water tank,
and BBQs if needed for family picnic lunches.

We have regular working bees to mow the grass,
clean up the fallen leaves and branches, and do an "EMU Parade" along the beach
to collect any flotsam and jetsam littering our beautiful beaches.

This is not an unplesant task but it is necessary to preserve the park
for the locals and visitors who come to enjoy the surroundings for a family BBQ,
or just as an access point for a stroll along the pristine deserted beaches.

As you can see it is also an opportunity for a pleasant social activity for members.

Please be patient - because of the large number of photos this page may take a few minutes to load.
