If you are interested in becoming more involved with Caloundra Coast Guard there are two options:
1. FULL Membership - THE WAY TO GO ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE RETIRED AND/OR WOULD LIKE A NEW INTEREST.
As a trained member of COAST GUARD you join a boat crew.
OR: You could be trained as a Radio Operator assisting in vital rescue missions.
OR: You could become involved in a number of areas such as:- Administration, Maintainence, Finance, Fundraising and Publicity.
You will learn many marine skills and derive GREAT satisfaction from assisting other "boaties".
It is an active, enjoyable environment where you will have a good time and make new friends.

2. ASSOCIATE Membership - THE "RACQ" OF THE SEA.
As a supporter you derive a range of benefits, including:
(a) Search and Rescue missions over a wide area, 24 hours every day of the year.
(b) Emergency support on or near the water (also involving other emergency services).
(c) Marine Radio Support-weekends Public holidays-part of a large network.
(d) Priority enrolment - at concessional prices - for a range of Safety, Maritime Navigation, First Aid, Radio and other courses we run as a Registered Training Organisation.
(e) Visits and educational presentations to local groups.
(f) Local Business discounts.
(g) Regular updated Weather Reports, Tide and bar conditions upon request.
(h) As a special service we also offer a dignified scattering of ashes at sea.

If you have any questions you could come along to one of our Flotilla meetings.
They are held primarily to inform members of current situations effecting the group.
Visitors are most welcome so come along - get a feel for the activities we undertake.
