ABOUT US

Our Flotilla was formed in 1973. Our membership has held steady above 60 for many years.
We are an organisation composed entirely of volunteers,
whose main aim is to promote safety in the operation of small craft.

Our function is assistance to the boating public
- initially by education, example, examination and finally by search and rescue.
We have no law enforcement powers but enjoy a reputation
for being helpful and courteous to all boat owners.

Although we do plenty of valuable work, we also have a lot of fun.

To us, fellowship, good times and lasting friendships are as important as helping the boating community.
For those who may be interested in becoming part of this rewarding activity,
we offer two types of membership as covered in the Membership page.

For those of you NOT using the Firefox browser my opinion is that you should check it out. It is "Free" and comes with many easily configurable ad-on features to customise your web browsing experience. The biggest advantages are it is a faster and much more secure browser. It prevents most popup ads, viruses and other nasties common with Internet Explorer. Check it out Here.
